The cold weather has finally broke, and we were even outside for recess and lunch again! Just a reminder that we use -20°C as the limit for going outside. If it is warmer than that, students will go Outside for recess and lunch. Please help them to make sure they are addressed properly for the weather, especially as we are getting into spring and the usual crazy Calgary weather.
On Feb. 19, 2025, CUPE Local 40 served 72-hour strike notice to the CBE. This means that the union will withdraw services beginning Monday, Feb. 24, 2025. During strike action, CBE is prioritizing in-person learning. We are committed to supporting student learning and well-being while maintaining safe and welcoming school environments for students, staff and families.
We are committed to keeping schools safe for students and staff and complying with AHS guidelines and occupational health and safety regulations. This means that schools will be cleaned after dismissal.
- Before and After School Care will continue.
- There are no changes to school start and end times.
- Field trips and other planned activities during the school day will continue as planned.
- Volunteers may continue to support classroom and school activities.
