Dear SS Parents and Guardians,
I have the bittersweet task of sharing that Mrs. Tammy Neufeld, our wonderful Grade 1/2 teacher, will be retiring at the end of this school year.
Mrs. Neufeld has been an inspiring and dedicated educator whose warmth, creativity, and deep care for her students have made a lasting impact on our school community. Her classroom has always been a place of joy, learning, and kindness, and she will be deeply missed by students, staff, and families alike.
We are incredibly grateful for everything that Mrs. Neufeld has brought to Silver Springs School, and we wish her all the best in her well-earned retirement. And to support her right now, I will say GO OILERS!
Before she retires though, we still have another week of swimming lessons! Except for the one smoky day, we had a great week of swimming with wonderful weather and tons of learning and independence for our students! I want to share out another HUGE THANK YOU goes out to all our Parent Volunteers for your help! You rock!

Register Now for Yellow School Bus Service for 2025-2026
Families are now able to register for yellow school bus service for the 2025-26 school year. Service levels and proposed fees are outlined below.
Registration is available through your MyCBE account. (If you do not already have an account, learn how to create one.)
Families must register by Sunday, June 22, 2025 for students to be added to routes for the start of the next school year.
We continue to accept registrations after the deadline; however, students are added to the closest existing bus stop with available space. Processing times for registrations submitted after the June 22 deadline will be delayed. Confirmed routes will be posted in your MyCBE account in August. For those who register after the June 22 deadline, it may take until mid-October before your child is able to ride the bus.
Transportation can be cancelled with no financial impact by submitting the cancellation form by Sept. 30, 2025.

All Sport One Day 2025
All Sport One Day is a fantastic, free sport discovery event designed specifically for children and youth aged 6 to 17. It offers a unique opportunity for young participants to try out a new sport or physical activity in a fun and supportive environment.
Whether your child is curious about learning a new skill or simply eager to get active, this event is an excellent way to introduce them to the world of sports without any financial commitment. By participating, kids can explore different sports, discover their interests, and potentially find a new passion, all while making new friends and staying active.
All Sport One Day 2025 will be held on Saturday, June 21 and Saturday, Aug. 16 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
