Happy Spring Equinox on March 20, and I hope it is a great first day of Spring! It is so hard to believe we are at Spring Break and how quickly this year is flying by! I wish everyone a happy and healthy Spring Break, and I will look forward to seeing all our students back on Monday May 31.

Asking for a Donation – Used Hockey Bag 

Do we have anyone who would be able to donate a used Hockey Bag or something similar for our teachers to use to take equipment outside as needed? I have some Febreeze if needed... 😊  

Silver Springs School Council & Parent Association Casino Fundraiser – Volunteers needed! 

Our school's largest fundraiser, the casino, is just under two months away! We need a lot of volunteers for this event, and as of today, we have 25 spots left to fill - grab a friend and volunteer together to help support our school!

Welcome to Our New Administrative Secretary! 

We have hired a new Administrative Secretary for our Office, and I would like to welcome Mrs. Donna Cinnamon to Silver Springs School. I think she will be an amazing fit for our school and will be a great fit for our team! We are hoping that she will start with us in the middle of April, and I am just waiting to confirm the specific date.

Our Next School Council & Parent Association Meeting is April 8, 2025 

Our next School Council meeting is on Tuesday April 8, 2025 at 6:30 pm. I can’t wait to see you there! 

Treasurer & Fundraising Coordinator Position Needed 

We are looking for parents to join our School Council & Parent Association for the 2025/2026 school year. We are currently looking for people who would be interested in the Treasurer position and the Fundraising Coordinator position. Mentorship and transition support will be provided, and volunteering for the Council is a great way to stay involved & engaged with what the students are up to!
