Dear SS Parents and Guardians,
I wanted to say thank you to all the parent volunteers who came and joined us on Thursday for our volunteer tea! We are so glad you were able to join us for some refreshments, some cake, and some awesome entertainment to thank you for all you do to support each and every student here at Silver Springs School. You are absolutely amazing for all you bring to this wonderful place.
Speaking of volunteering, we do have our sports day coming up on June 6 and are looking for volunteers to support us with that. Please see below for the sign-up genius link.

Sports Day on June 6, 2025 – Volunteers Needed Please
Sports Day is just two weeks away! On Friday, June 6 School Council in partnership with the school will be hosting a fun morning full of outdoor games. We need many volunteers to run this special event. Event runs from 9am-11:30am volunteers will be needed from 8:30am - 12:30pm to include set-up and take-down.
Positions Needed: Volunteers to help set up, run stations & cheer the kids on (and maybe play a little themselves) :) We could also use help sorting the stations Thursday after school in the gym.

Transportation (Bussing) Registration for 2025-2026
- An email will be sent to eligible families about transportation registration and proposed fees.
- Transportation registration is available using MyCBE. (If families do not already have an account, learn how to create one.)
- Families must register by Sunday, June 22, 2025 for students to be added to routes for the start of the next school year.
- Transportation can be cancelled with no financial impact by submitting the cancellation form by Sept. 30, 2025.
- Fees are due later in October. There are flexible payment options. Families can apply for waivers if they cannot afford to pay fees.
