Dear SS Parents and Guardians,  

Thank you to so many of our parents and grandparents and family for coming to attend our Orange Shirt Day assembly this morning. The red team of classes did a fantastic job in giving us the gift of learning, the gift of a beautiful song, and the gift of leading us in a community round dance. It was very well done and an excellent acknowledgement of Orange Shirt Day and our National Day of Truth and Reconciliation. 

A reminder that Monday September 29 is a non-instructional day for students and that the school will be closed on Tuesday September 30 as that is our official National Day of Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day. 

Work hard, learn, lots, and be kind to one another! And every child does matter!
